Add zeal to your party with balloon Games

Add zeal to your party with balloon Games

Everyone knows that balloons are the best way to decorate the party space and a great gifting idea too. But I really was in awe when I heard about balloon games for parties. It just simply thrilled me and wanted to know more about it. I actually was looking for some engaging games as my daughter birthday party was nearing. Parents would know how important games are for kids parties, so I just didn't want to be easy on it. Internet really helped with this task, and not just kids, even their parents had a good time at my daughter's birthday party. So, I thought of sharing those ideas which would really be helpful for some parents like me.

For the first game, the kids were made to form a circle and asked to pick a chit sheet from the lot. One who got the chit with the highest number had to stand in the middle with few inflated balloons. He/she had to call a number, and drop the balloon. The holder of the particular number should catch the balloon before it lands on the floor. If the player was successful, then next number would be called up on. In case the balloon hits the floor, then that player had to shift to the center.

With the same circle formation, we played another game with party balloons. A leader would be standing in the middle with a balloon and call out the player by name and mention a body part. The objective of the game was to keep the balloon up by hitting it with the mentioned body part. If the players let the balloon fall or used a wrong body part, he/she would be pronounced out. The player who managed to play till the last was the winner.

Musical water balloons, of course a traditional game, but an exciting one. And, we filled in some 50 to 60 balloons with water, divided guests into two teams and played tossing game. We just set our own rules and freaked out with the water balloons.

Balloon relay race was hilarious, because no hands allowed for passing the balloons. Wondering how? We divided the group into teams and asked them to stand in a line. A balloon was placed in between the knees of the first player. Once the race begins, each player had to turn towards the second player who had to grasp the balloon using his/her knees. They had to continue doing it till the balloon was handed over to the last player, of course the objective was to finish first without letting the balloon fall or burst.

The balloon games ideas do not end here. If you are little more creative, balloons can be the best gaming tool for kids’ parties.
