Best Ages for Your Infant’s Portrait

It is commonly said that baby portrait photography is quite fascinating and enjoyable leisure. If you are a new parent, then its time to document the first year of your baby with professional photography. Every new parent will be tucked with a camera all the time. Though, you will be snapping away, it would be better to hand over the task to a portrait professional, because only professional photographer can capture your baby in unique, artistic ways and produce professional archival prints that can be treasured for years to come.
Many parents are not sure of the best months in the first year of their babies to click pictures . Here are some guidelines that will surely help you in this regard.
If you wish to take a photographs of your new born, then first five to ten days are the best time. You can have photography sessions with baby lying on a soft blankets or in your arms. Never miss to document your baby’s newborn photographs, whether your baby is asleep or awake. When your baby reaches 3 months, you can have a better head control than in first month. Now, you can make your baby lie down on back or stomach, slightly being propped up or can even hold him/her in your arms.
Between 4 and 5 months, your infant can fairly smile, and this is best time to capture your baby’s chubby cheeks, legs, and bare bottom shots. Clicking while they interact with people and objects make a great shot. During their 6th and 7th months, they give numerous amazing and interesting poses, which deserved to be archived. At this age, your child will be able to sit up well, laugh, and shower that cute smile. You can enjoy taking natural light baby photographs by going outdoors. Or, even you can make your baby sit in comfortable position with the pets and siblings.
By the beginning of 8th month, your child will be able to crawl and so, the photograph sessions get very active now. If your child is very active, better approach a professional photographer. Allow your baby to roam freely inside the premise, so the photographer can give you amazing results. If your baby is very calm and quiet, taking him/her to a photo studio will be ideal.
From 11 to 14 months, your infant will be busy pulling up, cruising along furniture, standing and walking, and sure you will be able to get some precious snap during this time. Now, you would have completed framing one year portrait of your baby with beautiful photographs from birth to one year.
It is amazing to say that all ages, from birth to one year, are the best ages for infant photography. Preferring professional archival prints for newborn portraits will last for generations.
