If you are physically fit, you can enhance your self confidence and fight against mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety. You can even sense enthusiasm in your life. To maintain your fitness, it is generally recommended to burn approximately 200 calories per day for most days of the week. This means you are required to work out for nearly about 30 minutes.
Medical experts have given some valuable suggestions to keep your body fit. They advise people to climb in stairs instead of using elevators. And also, you should walk up even in moving escalators. Try walking for short journeys instead of using your vehicle. Make yourself busy in hobbies such as painting or gardening. If you are traveling by bus, get off in the halfway and walk the rest.
If you follow the above tips, you will surely feel your body light and fit. Improved fitness through regular exercise helps in increasing your HDL or “good” cholesterol level. The excess fat present in your body will be removed this way, and you can retain your body shape. It completely relieves your hypertension and strengthens your bones. Regular physical activities help in boosting up your immune system and helps in maintaining your sugar level at normal. Moreover, physical fitness benefits you in getting rid of your mood swings and depression.
To conclude, you just don’t need materialistic things to experience the sense of satisfaction in your life. It is your own physical fitness that helps you in long run. It is priceless to have a healthy body and mind. Live your life to the core, but most importantly, live it honestly and invest time for taking care of your health. Spend some good time with your family or friends. Keep motivated and maintain a diary of your activities that you perform daily, so that you can look back and see how far you have come. Finally, set your goals, which are real, smart, and fruitful. They should be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time based. Visit gym or attend aerobic classes at least once in a week, or buy the necessary fitness equipment from one of the sports stores.
