Plastic Tablecloths

It is hard to imagine a world without plastics, as they are very easy to use and maintain as well. The charm of a plastic tablecloth is that it can add style to the simplest of the table surface. These plastic tablecloths look beautiful and graceful on any table and lasts for a very long time without need for cleaning.

Many times, we have tables that look old or have scratches or scars on them. However, not always can we throw away these tables as very often, our sentiments are attached to the tables. This is when you should use plastic tablecloths as they instantly give a clean look to the table and can be disposed easily as soon as the party is over.

One problem with plastic tablecloths is that as they are packaged and sold in small packets, they tend to gather too many folds and unseemly creases. This may disappoint you when you come home with the newly bought packet of plastic tablecloth and see these ugly wrinkles on your new plastic tablecloths, removing these wrinkles is not as hard as you might think.

In this article, we will tell you about the things that you can do to remove the creases from your plastic tablecloths. For this, you will need a clothes dryer and a hair dryer. These are some of the ways by which you can erase those unpleasant wrinkles with a clothes dryer.

Before you start, first read the manufacturer’s instructions on the care label. If there is a label attached to the plastic tablecloth, all you have to do is follow the directions and do as per the directions. If you see that the plastic tablecloth can be dried with clothes dryer, you may go to the next step, without worrying about destroying your plastic tablecloth.

Put the plastic tablecloth in clothes dryer with two dampened bath towels, preferably large ones. Then, run the clothes dryer in medium heat for approximately ten to fifteen minutes. Once done, you can now put the clothes dryer to Stop, and see if you can still see the wrinkles.

If you still see some of the creases, you should repeat the steps in the clothes dryer, and then, check the tablecloth after every 15 minutes. Some plastic tablecloths may have no flannel, fabric back, or care labels and these can be straighten with a hair dryer.

For these kinds of cloths, you have to place the plastic tablecloth or the disposable tablecloth on a flat surface, preferably a table. Then hold the hair dryer a few inches away from the tablecloth on low to medium heat setting and rotate it in the air above the plastic tablecloth. The creases will disappear soon.
